Sam Low: A Hawaiian Yankee

In 1921, a young Sandy Low was sent away from his home in Kohala to attend school in Connecticut. He never returned to Hawaii. But he gave his aloha spirit, his appreciation of Hawaiian music, and most importantly, his love of the sea, to his son, Sam Low, who was raised in Connecticut. Sam Low took all that his father had given him, and brought it to his father’s birthplace: Hawaii.

Long Story Short with Leslie Wilcox is a production of PBS Hawaii.
