Long Story Short – Thomas Kaulukukui Jr. – On Leadership

Thomas Kaulukukui Jr.’s career of public service was inspired by the examples set by his family who were teachers and coaches in the community. The values they imparted helped shape Thomas Jr.’s character and served him well in the jungles of Vietnam, in the classroom and football field and in the role of Circuit Court Judge. He is now the managing trustee of the Queen Liliuokalani Trust which assists orphaned and destitute children of Hawaiian ancestry. After serving in a variety of leadership capacities, Thomas Kaulukukui Jr. is now on a mission to help foster discipline and scholarship and to instill the core values of Hawaiian culture required by future leaders in the Native Hawaiian community.

Long Story Short with Leslie Wilcox is a production of PBS Hawaii.
